In the second season, Arisu and Usagi triumphed over all the challenges and made their way back to reality. Subsequently, they got married and relished a joyful life together, although their recollections of Borderland began to emerge as dreams and visions. One day, however, Usagi mysteriously vanishes without a sign. With the help of Ryuji, an investigator of the afterlife, Arisu embarks on a journey to return to Borderland.
