In this latest installment of the gripping psychological thriller, we delve once more into the suffocating atmosphere of the cul-de-sac, examining the repercussions of transforming dreams into reality.
The narrative centers around the talented heart surgeon Charlotte Roberts and her husband, anesthesiologist Jacob, as well as their enigmatic new co-worker, Mia, and Charlotte’s former lover, Leo. Leo’s reappearance brings about a shift in Charlotte, while Mia capitalizes on this change to embed herself into the lives of Jacob and Charlotte, their neighborhood, and ultimately, their intimate spaces, all while forming a bond with the neighborhood outsider, Alan.
However, it is not long before Mia’s history resurfaces, prompting Charlotte and Jacob to question her true identity, particularly when a series of unexplained patient deaths occur at the hospital. One thing becomes evident: succumbing to their aspirations could lead to fatal outcomes.
